Our Story
The idea for Finni’s Finest was created out of necessity.
A few months after her first birthday, Finnia was diagnosed with Celiac and lactose intolerance.
The hardest part was not knowing how exposure to wheat or dairy would affect her emotionally or physically.
I cried for two nights at the thought of her feeling left out at birthday parties, unable to eat cake and ice cream with friends. I thought about traveling, and if it would ever be possible for her to eat at a restaurant. I thought about the physical damage gluten had done to her body up to that point and how various symptoms had manifested.
As a parent, you want everything for your child, and you never want them to hurt.
You want them to thrive and be happy.
Since she could no longer drink milk, I had to figure out a way to replace the lost nutrients in her diet.
I found that individually, alternative plant-based milks lacked a full nutritional profile. However, by combining them, I could get the good fats, good carbohydrates, and good protein I was looking for into Finnia’s diet.
I began blending oatmilk, peamilk and coconutmilk into her sippy cups, and the idea for Finni’s Finest MILKblend was born.
Now, our goal is to get Finni’s Finest into the hands of anyone that wants or needs an alternative to milk, because everyone deserves to thrive and be happy.
